Ultimate Ladakh Expedition: Manali to Leh via Turtuk & Pangong Tso

Day 1: Delhi To Manali
● Departure from Delhi to Manali by volvo bus at 07:30 PM.
● Overnight Journey to Manali.

Day 2: Manali Sightseeing | Self Exploration
● Check in to the hotel, freshen up & relax.
● Post breakfast head for local sightseeing of Manali.
● Self Explore Places to visit - Hadimba Temple, Jogni Waterfall, Vashisht Temple, Mall Road.
● Dinner followed by a briefing for the next day & overnight sleep.

Day 3: Manali To Sarchu Via Jispa Baralacha Pass
● Wake up early in the morning,collect bikes & check out from the hotel.
● Start your ride on the famous Leh - Manali Highway.
● Drive through Atal Tunnel to Lahaul Valley, along the Chandra river to Keylong, the district
headquarters of Lahaul & Spiti.
● Visit Suraj Taal, a small lake on the top of Baralacha - La and enjoy the panoramic views.
● Arrival at Sarchu. Overnight stay in camps under millions stars.

Day 4: Gata Loops - Lachung la - Tanglang La - Leh
● After breakfast at the campsite, head to Leh.
● En Route, cross the Gata loops (21 hairpin bends) at 4669 m, Nakee - La (4739 m) and then
Lachung - La (5065 m) just above Brandy bridge
● Reach Pang(an army base at 4600m) by afternoon and have lunch at pang.
● Drive through the beautiful Moore Plains & after crossing Tanglang -La (5328 m), continue your
journey through Upshi, Karu and finally Leh.
● Check in to the hotel, Overnight at the hotel.

Day 5: Khardung La - Hunder - Nubra Valley - Diskit
● After breakfast, head for beautiful Nubra Valley via Khardung La (Highest motorable road at 5359
m)
● You'll find yourself surrounded between the Karakoram and Ladakh ranges of the Himalayas.
● Check in to the hotel and visit the Sand Dunes (cod deserts of India), take a camel safari (self -
paid).
● Visit the Diskit village and the Monastery around.
● Come back to the hotel by evening, dinner and sleep overnight.

Day 6: Nubra Valley - Turtuk - Diskit
● Wake up to a beautiful sunrise.
● Post breakfast departs for Turtuk, a remote village of above 4,000 residents inhabited by ethnic
Muslims, a few kilometres from the 'Line Of Control' (the de facto border) between India and
Pakistan, on the Indian side.
● Turtuk is the penultimate village open to foreign tourists before Pakistan.
● Spend some time in the pristine landscapes of Turtuk Village.
● Come back to stay by evening.
● Dinner & Sleep Overnight.

Day 7: Shyok - Pangong Tso Lake
● After breakfast check out, start your journey to the famous Pangong Tso via the Agam and Shyok.
● Pangong Tso changes its color 4-5 times a day & with a backdrop of mountains of various hues &
colors, it is a sight for the Gods.
● Reach Pangong Lake & check in to the campsite.
● Dinner & sleep overnight.

Day 8: Pangong to leh
● Wake up in the morning to the beautiful Pangong Lake view and have a delicious breakfast.
● Today we will be driving back to Leh and visit the beautifully structured Thiksey Monastery and
Shey Palace enroute. Visit Druk Padma School, famed for the movie ‘3 Idiots’ as the site where
the last scene was shot.
● We will be crossing Chang-la Pass, which is one of the highest mountain passes in the world.
● Upon reaching Leh, bikers will drop their bikes in Leh. Rest for some time followed by dinner at
the hotel.
● Overnight stay at a hotel in Leh.

Day 9: Leh To Sarchu / Jispa
● Post breakfast, head towards Jispa/Sarchu for the overnight stay.
● We will take the same route that we took to reach Leh from Manali.
● Reach Jispa/Sarchu by evening.
● Overnight stay in Jispa/Sarchu.

Day 10: Sarchu / Jispa To Manali And Departure
● Wake up early morning & post breakfast depart for Manali.
● Reach Manali & depart for Delhi by evening.

Day 11: Reach Delhi
● Reach Delhi by morning with amazing trip memories
