Day 1 – Arrival in Srinagar | Mughal Gardens & City Exploration

Upon arrival at Sheikh ul-Alam International Airport in Srinagar, you will be warmly welcomed by our representative who will assist you with your transfer to the hotel. Enjoy a comfortable drive through the beautiful city before reaching your hotel.

After check-in, take some time to relax and refresh after your journey. In the afternoon, begin your exploration of Srinagar with visits to the famous Mughal gardens, built during the Mughal era and known for their Persian-style landscaping and scenic beauty.

Visit Nishat Bagh, also known as the Garden of Joy, which offers spectacular views of Dal Lake and the Zabarwan mountain range. Continue to Shalimar Bagh, the royal garden built by Emperor Jahangir for his beloved wife Noor Jahan. Later, explore Chashme Shahi, famous for its natural spring and peaceful surroundings.

In the evening, visit the Shankaracharya Temple, located on a hilltop that provides panoramic views of Srinagar city and Dal Lake.

After sightseeing, you can spend some leisure time exploring local markets such as Lal Chowk and Polo View Market, where you can shop for Kashmiri handicrafts, dry fruits, and souvenirs.

Return to the hotel for dinner and an overnight stay in Srinagar.

Day 2 – Excursion to Gulmarg | Snow Activities & Gondola Experience

Start your morning with breakfast at the hotel before heading for an excursion to Gulmarg, one of the most famous hill stations in Kashmir. The drive to Gulmarg takes approximately 2 hours and passes through scenic landscapes, pine forests, and picturesque villages.

Gulmarg is renowned for its snow-covered meadows, world-class skiing slopes, and breathtaking Himalayan views. One of the main attractions here is the Gulmarg Gondola, one of the highest cable cars in the world.

Visitors can enjoy two phases of the Gondola ride:

Phase 1: Gulmarg to Kongdori

Phase 2: Kongdori to Apharwat Peak

From Apharwat Peak, you can witness stunning views of snow-clad mountains and glaciers.

Apart from the Gondola ride, visitors can enjoy several optional snow activities such as skiing, snow biking, sledging, and photography at the snow points.

After spending a memorable day in Gulmarg, return to Srinagar in the evening and relax at the hotel.

Day 3 – Excursion to Sonamarg | Glacier Views & River Valley

After breakfast, proceed for a scenic excursion to Sonamarg, which means "Meadow of Gold." The drive to Sonamarg takes around 2.5 hours and offers beautiful views of mountain passes, pine forests, and flowing rivers.

Upon arrival, explore the breathtaking landscapes of Sonamarg surrounded by snow-capped Himalayan peaks.

One of the major attractions here is Thajiwas Glacier, which can be reached by a pony ride or a local taxi (available at additional cost). The glacier offers spectacular views and an opportunity to experience snow even during the summer months.

You can also enjoy views of the Sindh River Valley, known for its crystal-clear water and beautiful surroundings. The area is perfect for photography and short nature walks.

After enjoying the natural beauty of Sonamarg, return to Srinagar in the evening.

Day 4 – Srinagar to Pahalgam | Scenic Valleys & Riverside Views

After breakfast, check out from the hotel and drive towards Pahalgam, one of the most beautiful valleys in Kashmir. The journey takes around 3 hours and passes through scenic countryside.

On the way, stop at Awantipora Ruins, which are ancient temple ruins dating back to the 9th century and offer insight into Kashmir’s historical architecture.

Continue the journey with a visit to the famous Pampore Saffron Fields (seasonal), where saffron cultivation takes place and visitors can learn about the world’s most expensive spice.

Upon arrival in Pahalgam, check in to your hotel and relax.

Later in the afternoon, explore local attractions including viewpoints of the Lidder River, which flows beautifully through the valley, creating a peaceful environment. You can also enjoy a walk through the Pahalgam local market.

For those interested in further exploration, optional sightseeing can be done by local union taxis to nearby valleys such as:

Betaab Valley – famous for Bollywood movie shootings

Aru Valley – known for scenic landscapes and trekking routes

Chandanwari – the starting point of the Amarnath Yatra

Return to the hotel for dinner and overnight stay in Pahalgam.

Day 5 – Pahalgam to Srinagar | Cultural Exploration & Shikara Ride

After breakfast, check out from the hotel and begin your drive back to Srinagar.

Upon arrival, check into your hotel and relax for some time.

In the afternoon, explore the cultural and spiritual side of Srinagar by visiting the Hazratbal Shrine, an important religious site located on the banks of Dal Lake.

Later, enjoy a walk through parts of Srinagar’s old city including Zero Bridge, known for its heritage wooden architecture.

In the evening, head towards Dal Lake Boulevard Road to witness a beautiful sunset over the lake.

One of the highlights of the day is a 1-hour Shikara Ride on Dal Lake, where you can experience the traditional wooden boat ride while enjoying views of floating gardens and houseboats.

Return to the hotel for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 6 – Departure

After breakfast, check out from the hotel and proceed towards Srinagar Airport for your onward journey.
